As part of the proposed expansion of the San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra, Nicola Swinburne will be running some orchestral training classes.

		The orchestra is looking for skilled musicians who are interested in joining the group in the near future after attending a training course. We are most interested in musicians who can read well and have orchestral experience in another instrument. Violinists, violists, cellists, pianists and flautists would probably have the closest skill set. Other training courses may be available for other mandolinists who would like to learn Classical techniques and orchestral playing skills. The courses are expected to start in September and will probably take place in Noe Valley, San Francisco.
