I recommend that beginner students have lessons of 45 minutes at least
once a week and that more advanced students have lessons of one hour or
longer (preferably also once a week, but this is less essential). We
schedule the month's course of lessons at the end of the previous

Tuition rates as of March, 2008 are $56/hr (Oakland), $56/hr (San
Francisco) and $60 (Palo Alto). In a four-week month the price for

Students can sign up for fewer lessons if they know they will be away,
or have an existing commitment, or they may sign up for all weeks of a
five-week month. Priority for lesson times is given to students who are
the most consistent!
